What you’ll do
You will assist the UX Manager by aiding the marketing and web teams with UX recommendations. This can range from running competitor analysis and data reports to understanding user behaviour trends and research techniques.
**PLEASE NOTE. This role requires you to work from our office based in Fareham Hampshire (Hybrid). Please only apply if you are happy to work from this location**
Your day to day
- Carry out UX audits for Marketing and Website clients, produce clear and concise reports and communicate the data to the clients and internal teams, clearly illustrating the advice.
- Analyse and test common site elements, including information architecture and navigation, user flows and conversion funnels, on-page messaging and content, call to action and forms.
- Provide rationale and supporting data for UX recommendations.
- Consult with clients to understand their goals.
- Conduct usability testing.
- Understand user behaviour trends and research techniques.
- Good at problem-solving and thinking analytically to come up with the best solution.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows.
- Conduct competitor and customer analysis.
- Organise and track hours that are allocated to each client.
- Communicate to management on project development, timelines and results.
- Communicate effectively with UX team on the progress of the client’s projects and campaigns and, at times, directly with the clients.
- Train and mentor members of the UX team.
- Review and approve UX team work.
- Any other duties as assigned by your manager
Knowledge and Experience
- Basic understanding of UX and marketing principles (required)
- A few years of experience working in-house or 1 – 2 years UX experience (desirable)
- Recent marketing or related field graduate (or equivalent) (desirable)
- Excellent Organisational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
