ArmstrongB2B® is a 55 strong, multidisciplinary agency that offers strategy, design, digital, social media, 3D, animation, photography, video & motion from a single source. We are based in Chester city centre and work globally with world leading industrial manufacturing brands. We develop marketing strategies that deliver exceptional ROI for our customers. Our work includes rebrand and repositioning, commercial strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, market diversification. We also work clients on product animations, innovative web platforms, corporate videos, photography shoots and exhibition support.

The agency is looking for an Account Director with 5-7 years agency experience in B2B marketing, to join the 15 strong Client Services team. You will have worked in a similar senior client services role for a creative or digital agency for at least 2-3 years. You will be supported and guided by Head of Client Services and report directly into the senior leadership team for sales. You will be responsible for a team of Account Managers and Account Executives supporting them to service their clients, creating proposals and visiting manufacturing clients throughout Europe and USA regularly. You will lead your team, grow accounts, fulfil client’s marketing calendars with planned marketing activities as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams.

  • Driving growth within accounts and reporting key financial data to the senior leadership team
  • Establishing and nurture long-lasting client relationships
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within client groups and selling all the in-house creative disciplines
  • Create detailed proposals and play an active role in pitching
  • Direct, guide and empower an internal team and conduct performance reviews
  • Work closely with the Operations team to book and prioritise resource, tracking budget on projects with a junior team
  • Monitoring creative quality, consistency and deadlines
  • Exceptional commercial acumen driving profitability to reach targets set
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrial manufacturing sectors we work in
  • As a relationship-based role, you need to be confident, personable and customer centric
  • You will have an unwavering attention to detail and deadlines
  • Confident in creative brief writing and run briefing meetings with senior creative colleagues
  • Be willing and able to travel monthly within UK, Europe & USA
