We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional who is looking for a challenging and exciting role. You will provide recruitment marketing support for undergraduate student recruitment campaigns, events and projects in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Part of External Relations, the Marketing team provides expertise and support across the University, ensuring marketing activity is fully integrated to maximum effect. Reinforcing the University's reputation and strengths, our remit encompasses brand, content, campaigns, events, digital, design and corporate marketing.
You'll be part of a high performing marketing team delivering targeted and effective marketing with the aim of raising the profile and reputation of the University.
Reporting into the Faculty Marketing Officer, you will generate high quality, audience focused online and offline marketing content, plan and deliver campaigns and events and ensure the smooth running of operations in these areas, to support student recruitment marketing.
You will be a proactive and hands-on marketer with great all-round marketing skills including digital marketing, content development, campaign management, CRM, publication production, copywriting, commissioning design and managing events, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to track, report and evaluate campaign results.
At Manchester Met we have recently refreshed our strategy and launched the Road to 2030. Marketing will play a key role in helping to support the University to deliver outstanding teaching and research and it's a great time to be a part of the team as we shape how we work in the future.
Hybrid working is offered for this role. The nature of the role requires presence on campus at certain times of year, but at other times you will be able to complete some work remotely. In recognition of staff contributions to the University's achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff. This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly instalments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
