Creative Web Designer

Job Description

Lda are looking for our next mid weight creative web designer to join our growing team.

As a business we work across multiple disciplines and various sectors, working in partnership with our clients to deliver award winning work. You will need to be a team player that’s confident enough to speak up and share ideas, as well as work alone on projects as and when required.

You will be design obsessed; driven by creativity with an eye for the next big design trend and the ability to translate client requirements into design whilst delivering accessible and engaging web design.

We want to see you grow and develop and will support your development, but right now we would look for you to have the following:

• Proven experience as a Creative Web Designer 
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio 
• An understanding of design within programmes such as Elementor 
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details 
• Excellent visual design skills 
• Working knowledge and proficiency in Adobe creative suite, Xd, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Proven experience in fully responsive design 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines 
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies 
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards and site maps
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript 

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Study design briefs and determine requirements 
• Understand how to work within budgets 
• Conceptualise visuals based on client requirements 
• Prepare draft concepts and present ideas 
• Develop illustrations 
• Design for digital projects 
• Be able to work in-line with client brand guidelines 
• Work with copywriters and Creative Director to develop concepts 
• Amend designs after feedback 
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off 
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
